ABOUT THE OWNER
Adam Martindale is the owner of MeetOnBoard and has over 30 years of experience in the travel industry. He worked as Food and Beverage Director for major cruise lines, luxury hotels and resorts. Adam first went to sea with Carnival Cruise Lines in 1985, when the line had only 3 ships in their fleet. He brought out two of their new ships and even lived in Finland and Sweden as they were being built. He worked with Norwegian Cruise Line on “Pride Of America” and “Pride of Hawaii”, as well as smaller luxury ships with Oceania and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
Adam has an intimate knowledge of cruise ports, ships, and the industry and looks forward to helping MeetMeOnBoard members plan their cruises and other travel. He offers a wealth of experience to personalize the onboard experience, knows most ports of call throughout the world, and is always just an e-mail away.

ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
Back in 2008, prior to departing on a Baltic Cruise, Mark den Hartog and Dale McCurdy found themselves on a quest. They were in search of a way to connect LGBTQ+ cruisers both before and after setting sail. The cruise lines were not exactly waving a rainbow flag for the queer community in those days, and Mark and Dale were determined to shake things up. That's when MeetMeOnBoard was born!
Mark and Dale, partners on both the seas and in life for over 34 years, understood the importance of fostering connections and community among LGBTQ+ cruisers. These two, with hearts as vast as the open sea, believed that every LGBTQ+ cruiser should have the chance to connect before the ship even leaves port, creating friendships that could outlast even the most epic ocean voyages.
