This is the second ship in the Solstice class from Celebrity. It’s a beautiful ship which radiates freshness. The signature Lawn Club on the top deck is a great space to spend time whiling away the hours at sea or to spend some time watching the Corning Hot Glass Show where you can see the artisans from Corning Glass create their masterpieces.

The cabins are generally fairly roomy. They have the typical categories but this class of ship has the Aqua Class and for those of you that enjoy the spa experience these cabins are for you. You have your own dining room, Blu, that specializes in healthy fresh cooking but don’t worry you can get your fill of french fries here too! You also have access to the Persian Garden with it’s steam rooms and heated ceramic beds.

Many of the public areas are “chic” including the Martini Bar with very modern lounge seating. This is the area to watch the master bar tenders mix and pour the martinis…what they can do will amaze you. For some quiet time during the day, head to the Solarium and adults only sanctuary with padded loungers and a soothing ambiance. For late night fun and dancing, you have to experience Qusar, the night club.

The service on all Celebrity ships is top notch. Gatherings for LGBT are not printed in the daily Celebrity Today so make sure you check the list by the reception desk to find out the meeting locations. Our Cruise Director, Maria, was a hoot and really made our whole group feel very special.
