    Nice Ship for the short getaway

    GENERAL IMPRESSIONS OF THE SHIP:

    Overall, the ship was in good condition. There wasn't a lot to do on the ship and the shops were not big. We were on this ship before it was refurbished. We didn't do the waterslide or spend much time doing things on the ship as it was a short cruise. We didn't know what to expect on the ship as it was the first time on Carnival and with friends together. So we were still going through changes so we hid most things. We think there were others on board. According to others that were with us, they met and talked to quite a few others so it seemed to be a good cruise to be on.

    TELL US ABOUT YOUR STATEROOM:

    We had an oceanview cabin with 3 of us staying in the room. It was ok but no where to really put luggage. So we shared a bed and the 3rd bed was for the luggage. What was really surprising is the beds were not pull down. It was one bed on the left, then one under the window which was the couch sort of and then the third was literally laying on the floor on the right side. No one wanted to sleep on the floor so that became our luggage holder.

    HOW WERE THE PUBLIC SPACES:

    The ship did flow nicely. It was clean but did need some updating at that time. The best part was the food and the shows were ok. There wasn't many people on the ship with us. Would like to see how it looks now that it is updated.

    TELL US ABOUT THE SERVICES:

    The best part about this ship was the buffet and food. We only ate once in the dining room and the rest of the time, we were out on the buffets as there were tons of choices and great food. Very easy to gain weight on one of these things. lol. We had to switch and fix dining plans as they didn't follow requests as we were a small group going together.
