    GENERAL IMPRESSIONS OF THE SHIP:

The ship was very attractive. Almost elegant in some places. It seems the Joe Farcus has been replaced by someone with taste. The ship appeared to be clean and there was much effort to keep it that way. Always seeing somebody wiping down something.

WOULD YOU CRUISE THIS SHIP AGAIN:

    yes

    TELL US ABOUT YOUR STATEROOM:

Typical inside cabin on 9 deck, directly under the pool area. Late at night you could hear the thumping of the dancing..if there was one going on. Was kept clean by a friendly stewardess and her helper. Plenty of closet space. The bed, put together to be full size was hard as a rock. 3 days into the trip, had to go to Pursers desk to request padding of which they took care of. What ever happened to 'Carnivals comfort bedding'? Nice sample packs in dish. Shampoo supplied in shower was terrible.

    HOW WERE THE PUBLIC SPACES:

Liked the layout of the ship..pretty easy to get around. It wasnt long before we all found our favorite areas. Too many tables in the casino bar area. very cramped. We mostly hung out by the pool and in the Lido area. It seemed there were lots of little areas to relax in ..in or out of the sun. Serenity area was nice but kind of small. Children were not allowed and it was enforced ..good for you Carnival! Also they enforced the no 'deck chair saving ' policy. Another plus.

    TELL US ABOUT THE SERVICES:

I thought the food and the variety quite good. You name it....24 hr pizza, Deli, Mongolian Wok, Guy's Burger joint, burritos, Main Dining room. The service in the MDR was ok (I was on 2nd seating) . Had a great meal in the Italian restaurant with friends. The BBQ was wonderful!
Liked the Red Frog Pub, Great Beer. The bar service was a bit slow at times..its the first time I ever had that happen! Drinks expensive.
There was a lack of entertainment. Little in the way of music and dancing. A lot of Karaoke and trivia. Ron Pass and his piano bar was hopping but, try to get a seat! At first the FOD or LGBT gatherings were held here...during the regular opening hours. Not very cohesive to meet anybody .
Was NOT impressed by the sows or the Comedy club..
