St. Thomas is among the most-frequent Caribbean cruise stops. Long-popular for shopping, gorgeous beaches, and its proximity to tiny St. John’s snorkeling diving, the U.S. island-territory undoubtedly has a substantial gay population, even if they’re transient. Alas, gay options on the island seem to be few. For cruise passengers, that’s not a big deal, although it can be fun to visit a gay watering hole or beach during a shore day. And some cruise passengers using Puerto Rico as a beginning/ending spot might be keen to fly back to St. Thomas for a few days…in which case there is a B&B,  The Caribbean Countess, gay-owned since 1989.
