About Randall Shirley, Editor
Award-winning writer Randall Shirley is one of North America’s busiest freelance travel journalists, frequently writing for publications such as Travel+Leisure, The Boston Globe, The Dallas Morning News, and Canada’s Calgary Herald and Up! inflight magazine. He is Travel Editor of Canada’s major gay magazine, Outlooks.
Randall grew up near Salt Lake City, Utah (the answer is “yes” to all the Mormon questions), and now lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.
His best vacations have been on cruises, favorite was a 14-night Panama Canal cruise. Read about that here.
He’s visited 699 cities, 44 U.S. states, all Canadian provinces and territories (including remote Nunavut … on a cruise ship!), and 35 different countries. Recent travels have taken him to three great cruise ports: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; New York City, and St. John’s, Newfoundland. Learn more at http://www.RandallShirley.com.
